Dock Solutions were pleased to have been working with the Somerset based fruit distributor on this project helping them safely bridge the gap between the loading bay edge and lorry trailer with an aluminium gas spring assisted bridge plate with an anti-slip cross-ribbing surface treatment which is positioned into place using a rigid steel handrail, along with bolt down bumper posts with rubber dock bumpers and wheel guides to ensure the vehicle is correctly aligned when docking.
Dock Solutions bridge plates have a capacity ranging from 1000kg up to 6000kg and are manufactured from either steel or aluminium non slip plate, and are available in most RAL colours. They are a much cheaper alternative to fitting a traditional dock leveller, quick and easy to install, saving both time and money, giving the operator a quick no hassle, practical and economical loading solution, all without installing an expensive electricity feed to your loading bay area!
